Maybe. Please, refer the manuals of the "Mago" device. They promise that THIS can work not only with Baxi products, but others, who "can" opentherm. And your boiler cans. Maybe you would write or phone them (to Great Britain, i think) to resolve all doubts. I don't know how much this device costs ...

You have many questions, but to answer all them there is not enough info from you.
Q1 what type of gas you have - natural or lpg
Q2 how you prepare hot water now - instantly or you have a boiler?
Q3 what type of radiator your installer wants to fit? Alluminium?
Q4 Do you need such strong integration ...
